Greg Walsh, LICSW

EMDR & ART Certified Clinician

Greg provides Mental Health counseling for: children, adolescents & adults. Greg has practiced in a variety of settings for more than 20 years with diverse populations.

Greg’s clinical interests and competencies include: EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing & ART – Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Anxiety/ related diagnoses, Chemical use/abuse issues Communication enhancement, Conflict Resolution, Depression, & Parenting Skills.

He is not a passive therapist. Greg actively engages with clients and focuses on providing sensitive—yet direct—constructive feedback, tools, and strategies to bring clients resolution, beginning with their first session.

Greg educates and assist all clients on how to better manage their stress - helping clients learn a variety of tools/techniques to accomplish this holistically - meaning tools not requiring medications and that don’t take considerable time.

Greg’s primary goal and focus for counseling clients is helping them find resolve for the presenting issues that caused them to contact me in the 1st place. Greg’s goal is to help clients who are mentally/emotionally stuck - unable to let go of the past, and/or move forward. He has worked in the Southwest Metro since 2004, and is connected with medical and mental health resources in the community, including doctors, psychiatrists, and other prescribing professionals such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants, as well as other therapists, massage therapists, etc.

Greg earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services with a clinical focus from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

When away from the office, Greg enjoys Latin dancing, biking, roller blading, cross-country skiing, canoeing, most any activity outdoors!
